How to install Quiver on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Quiver and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0 from tirrth's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Quiver show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Quiver.dmg (2.5 MB).

What is new in Quiver 1.0

One macOS menu-bar app holding a quiver of small utilities you flip on and off: Follow Focus, Drop Deck, Keep Awake, Waypoint, Glance Me. Install: open Quiver.dmg and drag Quiver into Applications. Not notarized yet, so on first launch open System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Open Anyway (or Control-click -> Open). Requires macOS 13+.
