How to install QuickNetStats on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for QuickNetStats and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 3.0.0 from FI-153's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to QuickNetStats show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: QuickNetStats.app.zip (2.2 MB).

## QuickNetStats 3.0.0 Your menu bar now holds a full network inspector. ### 🔍 Connection Details A new expandable section below your IP addresses with everything about the current connection: - **Interface** — name, MAC address, MTU, link speed, wired media type, supported protocols (IPv4 · IPv6 · DNS), and other available interfaces - **Addressing** — IPv4/IPv6 routers, subnet mask, broadcast, local & public IPv6, configuration method, hostname, computer name - **DNS & DHCP** — DNS servers, search domains, DHCP server, and lease timing - **Proxy** — active HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS proxies, shown only when configured - **Wi-Fi** — channel, band and width, PHY mode, Wi-Fi generation (Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7, including 6E), security, tx power, and country code Every row is click-to-copy. Rows that don't apply to your connection simply don't appear. ### Live Stats Press **Live** to watch the connection in real time: download/upload throughput, packets, errors, drops, and Wi-Fi RSSI, noise, SNR, and tx rate.
