How to install HeyMate on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for HeyMate and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.32 from UmarSiddiqui's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to HeyMate show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: HeyMate.dmg (59 MB).

**[HeyMate.dmg](https://github.com/UmarSiddiqui/heymate/releases/download/v1.0.32/HeyMate.dmg)**: open it and drag HeyMate into Applications.

Easiest install, no macOS malware warning: `curl -fsSL https://getheymate.vercel.app/install.sh | bash`

This build is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID-signed, so a DMG opened from the browser is blocked by macOS. Use the command above, or open **System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway**. Requires macOS 14.2 or later (Apple silicon or Intel).
