How to install Frost on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Frost and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.3.5 from frostbar's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Frost-0.3.5.dmg (6.3 MB).
What is new in Frost 0.3.5
### Changed - On macOS 27, which Frost doesn't support yet, Frost now leaves the menu bar alone and says so: it only adds the snowflake, whose menu explains that this version of macOS isn't supported yet, and Settings shows the same notice. Frost no longer adds its separators there, which macOS 27 drops from the menu bar and which could put your icons in a different order when they came back. Updates keep working, so a version that supports macOS 27 can arrive automatically. ### Fixed - The onboarding window fits its content, so its buttons are no longer cut off (as they were on macOS 27). - After you ask for Screen Recording in onboarding, the card waits while the system prompt is up instead of asking you to relaunch underneath it.
