How to install DuoBar on a Mac

1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
2. Search for DuoBar and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.3.0 from Mikeli7666's own GitHub release.
3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to DuoBar show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

# DuoBar 1.3.0

DuoBar 1.3.0 expands the native menu-bar experience for MacBooks while retaining DuoBar's macOS 13+ and Universal 2 support.

## What's New

- Adaptive Ring is now available on eligible MacBooks while connected to external power.
- MacBooks return to the Battery Ring immediately when unplugged.
- Adaptive Ring can communicate brightness, CPU, memory, and thermal conditions using the existing public macOS telemetry paths.
- DuoBar now offers clear Small, Default, and Large menu-bar icon-size presets, while preserving precise icon-size control.
- The installer disk image presents DuoBar.app alongside an Applications shortcut.
- If launched directly from the disk image, DuoBar explains how to install it before ejecting the image.
