How to install Blink on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Blink and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.2 from megootronic's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to Blink show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Blink.dmg (4.7 MB).
What is new in Blink 1.2
Restart a dev server without hunting for the terminal that owns it. Same for a simulator's app. Start at login, if you want it to. Better panel contrast, whatever's behind it. Refreshed icon. macOS 14+. Lives in the menu bar.
