How to install Shotnix on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Shotnix and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.26.3-beta from OMARVII's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Shotnix show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

What is new in Shotnix 0.26.3-beta

- **After a crash, Shotnix offers to send the report.** If Shotnix quit unexpectedly, or macOS closed it because it ran out of memory, the next launch asks once whether to send a report: by email, with macOS's crash report attached, or as a GitHub issue with the summary filled in and the report ready to drag in. Nothing is sent unless you send it yourself: you see everything first, your home folder and account name are hidden, and a report never includes your screenshots or recordings. A normal quit, an update or a restart never asks, and Don't ask again turns it off.
