How to install RepoBar on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for RepoBar and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.10.0 from steipete's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to RepoBar show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: RepoBar-0.10.0.zip (26 MB).

**Highlights:** Choose Light, Dark, or System appearance, with menus and heatmaps that refresh their colors reliably. - Add an Appearance setting (Light, Dark, System Default) to General settings so RepoBar's menus and windows can follow macOS or stay in a fixed mode; also available as `repobar settings set color-scheme` (thanks @drluckyspin). (#139) - Recolor the main menu and repository submenus on the first open after the appearance switches between Light and Dark instead of showing the previous appearance once (thanks @drluckyspin). (#139) - Apply a changed Heatmap color to repository submenu heatmaps instead of keeping the previous color until the repository's data changes (thanks @drluckyspin). (#141) - Fix direct debug packaging on macOS Bash 3.2 while preserving strict shell checks and universal release builds (thanks @prakersh). (#134) - Stop packaging when signing or requested notarization fails instead of reporting success for an unfinished app bundle. - Refresh Kingfisher image loading, Unicode terminal-width tables, and Chalk/ANSI tooling while retaining the existing Swift 6.2 and Node.js 22.13 minimums. - Update development tooling to pnpm 11.28.2 after the release cooldown, retaining the Node.js 22.13 minimum.
