About Redpen
Voice screenshot markup for macOS. Circle it, say why, and paste it into your chat with a model.
How to install Redpen on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Redpen and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.1.7 from HMDRAMS-DEV's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to Redpen show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Redpen.dmg (22 MB).
What is new in Redpen 0.1.7
Voice is built in: Parakeet turns speech into text on your Mac, no Superwhisper needed. Fixes a crash when talking with Mac dictation. The first screen now asks for the microphone up front.
