How to install PodsUpdater on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for PodsUpdater and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.3 from kizitonwose's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to PodsUpdater show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Pods.Updater.app.zip (5.1 MB).

What is new in PodsUpdater 1.0.3

- A full search is no longer required to filter newer pod versions.
- Add a `refresh` button to enable searching for pod versions using the current Podfile.
- Show a notification when pod versions search completes and the app is not in front.
- The local repository update warning interval is now 4 hours instead of 10 minutes.
- Update project dependencies and swift version.
- Multiple optimizations.
