# PlayStatus 3.1.3

On macOS 27 you can click the menu bar item again when nothing is playing, and drag the detached player again. And if Music is stopped on a playlist or an Apple Music page, Play now starts it.

## Fixed

- **Clicking the menu bar item when nothing is playing.** On macOS 27, with the player stopped and only the icon showing, a left-click anywhere on the item failed to open the player, and a greyed-out control could flash under a click aimed somewhere else. Clicks now land where you aim. Clicking a greyed-out control opens the player instead of doing nothing.
- **The menu bar Play button works when Music is stopped.** It sent play-pause, which Music ignores when nothing is loaded. That left it as the one button still lit when stopped, and it did nothing. It now starts playback the same way the player's **Play in Music** button does.
- **Play starts the playlist you're looking at.** If Music was stopped and showing one of your playlists, Play could leave it stopped, because Music had nothing loaded to resume. PlayStatus now tells Music to play that playlist, and it starts right away.
