How to install eqMac on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for eqMac and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.9.2 from bitgapp's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to eqMac show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: eqMac.dmg (18 MB).

What is new in eqMac 1.9.2

* Allowing to select which Capture method to use per device (macOS 14.2+ only)
* Fixed Bypass not working in System/Output settings
* Fixed Super Preset logic, allowing manual override and making the Condition check less eager
* Fixed Volume Mixer not working sometimes with some apps
* Spectrum Analyzer now takes into account both channels
