How to install Mooziac on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Mooziac and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.1.9 from shirkeharsh's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Mooziac show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Mooziac.dmg (8.5 MB).

### Playlist File Import & Export (.m3u8 & .json)
• **Universal Format Support**: Full support for importing and exporting offline playlists using standard `.m3u8` / `.m3u` files and structured, versioned `.json` format.
• **Automated Library Metadata Enrichment**: When importing playlists, track paths are matched against your local music index to automatically restore artwork, durations, artist metadata, YouTube IDs, and liked status.
• **Graceful Fallbacks & Relative Paths**: Relative paths are resolved relative to the playlist file, missing tracks remain intact until available, and playlists without title headers fall back cleanly to the file's name.

### Dynamic Island Drawer UI Refinements
• **Integrated Header Actions**: Replaced the floating bottom footer button with clean, inline action buttons (`+ Create`, `Import`, and `Export`) in the playlist drawer header.
• **Context Menu Export Submenu**: Right-click any playlist in the drawer or library list to export instantly as `M3U8…` or `JSON…`.
• **Menu Bar Quick Import**: Added `Import Playlist File… (.m3u8, .json)` directly into the native macOS status item menu bar context menu.
• **Frontmost Open Panels**: File picker sheets now foreground reliably (`NSApp.activate`) when triggered from any drawer or menu state.
