How to install Lume on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Lume and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 2.4.0 from bilipp's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Lume show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Lume-v2.4.0-macOS-Sideload.zip (107 MB).

### ✨ New Features
- Record live TV to your own self-hosted LumeRecorder server (Lume Pro)
- Schedule upcoming programmes from the guide and browse a Recordings library
- Setup guide for LumeRecorder linked from Recording Server settings (a QR code on Apple TV)
- New Live TV settings category with layout, recording server and sidebar options
- iPhone, iPad and Mac guide now uses the same programme cards as Apple TV
- Long-press (or right-click) a programme to watch, record or see details
- Optional Recordings and Multi-View toolbar buttons that fold into one menu when space is tight

- Unpair and Remove for recording servers merged into a single "Remove Server"
- Removed the playback Live Activity; the system Now Playing controls remain
