How to install Farol on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Farol and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.30.6 from snowztech's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to Farol show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Farol.dmg (12 MB).
What is new in Farol 0.30.6
Over ssh, Farol keeps showing the host and stops showing the repo on your Mac. ### Added - About Farol in the Farol menu, which opens the About page in settings. ### Changed - Over ssh, the files, review and git graph panels are empty, where they used to show the repo on your Mac. ### Fixed - Over ssh, a session still shows the host when a program like vim or an agent sets its own title, under the program's name.
