About EnviousWispr

Free, sub-second on-device AI dictation for macOS. Dual engines (Whisper + Parakeet) on Apple Silicon. Optional AI polish on your Mac with EG-1 or S1-mini by Superwhisper, Apple Intelligence (macOS 26), Ollama, or your own OpenAI/Gemini/Claude key. Snippets, custom words, no account, no subscription, audio never leaves your Mac.

How to install EnviousWispr on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for EnviousWispr and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 2.5.3 from saurabhav88's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to EnviousWispr show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: EnviousWispr.dmg (234 MB).
