How to install Window Layout Memory on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Window Layout Memory and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.3.0-preview.19 from wlzh's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Window Layout Memory show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: WindowLayoutMemory-v0.3.0-preview.19-macos-arm64.zip (1.1 MB).

2026-09-12完成开发，2026-09-14发布GitHub prerelease；build 26，schema 1，MIT。公开资产为arm64 ZIP和SHA256，采用ad-hoc签名且未公证。

修复微信聊天记录按联系人逐一排除的问题。用户选择后按聊天记录类型排除，旧精确标题记录读取时合并为单一类型规则，不保留联系人姓名；其它例外和布局不变。仅识别标准窗口与已知微信应用标识，主窗口不匹配；不读取聊天内容，不新增轮询。未知标题仍需单独处理。

新字段windowCategory仅接受wechatChatHistory，与标识、精确标题、扩展名互斥。旧版不支持此字段，不建议将新数据交给旧版读取。测试及安装结果见[测试报告](../TESTING.md)。

远端ZIP重新下载后通过SHA256和解压检查，当前脱敏资产校验值为`7b98cad6012f753174fc1f4068a54071d4398411fe4377845362b4ea9633ab73`。真实多显示器插拔、辅助功能交互、长期性能与能耗仍未全部验收，不因公开预发布而标记通过。

2026-09-14 重新发布资产：移除链接器调试符号中的本机源码绝对路径，并在构建脚本中加入用户主目录路径阻断门禁。功能、schema、权限和发布通道不变。
