How to install WebWatcher on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for WebWatcher and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.10.11 from ivg-design's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to WebWatcher show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: WebWatcher-1.10.11-build36-macOS.dmg (3.2 MB).
What is new in WebWatcher 1.10.11
Signed, notarized and stapled. The email watcher's link always opens Gmail filtered to the watched senders: their unread inbox mail when there is some, otherwise all their mail. It no longer opens the bare inbox. See CHANGELOG.md.
