How to install uvim on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for uvim and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.1.0 from celve's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to uvim show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: uvim-1.1.0.zip (4.3 MB).

What is new in uvim 1.1.0

**mvim is now uvim.** mvim 1.0.0 offers this version as an update and then fails to install it: the new name came with a new identifier, so to macOS and to the updater uvim is a different app. Download uvim from <https://github.com/celve/uvim/releases/latest>, and follow [Upgrading from mvim](https://github.com/celve/uvim#upgrading-from-mvim) to carry your settings over. The two permissions have to be granted again.

## What's Changed
* Make the README a short page, with the reference in sections that open in place by @celve in https://github.com/celve/uvim/pull/47
* Rename mvim to uvim by @celve in https://github.com/celve/uvim/pull/48
