About Uninstally
A clean, native macOS uninstaller. Completely removes apps and every file they leave behind using smart bundle-identifier detection. SwiftUI + Finder extension.
How to install Uninstally on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Uninstally and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.7.3 from gostonx's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to Uninstally show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Uninstally.dmg (3.0 MB).
What is new in Uninstally 1.7.3
### Fixed - **Native macOS UI materials** — fixed a bug where translucent sidebar, cards, and toolbar would render as opaque blocks (losing the floating native look) when the activation policy changed after window creation. The preference is now applied before the window is drawn, preserving the correct compositing regardless of Dock icon preference.
