A lightweight, open-source macro recorder and player for macOS — inspired by TinyTask (Windows). Record your mouse and keyboard actions globally and play them back with precise timing.

What is new in TinyRecorder 1.9.0
TinyRecorder 1.9 makes automation feel much more like a native macOS workflow: launch anything from the keyboard, follow every run live, and stop safely. ## Highlights - **Quick Run (`⌘K`)** — fuzzy-find macros and common commands, navigate with the arrow keys, run with Return, and dismiss with Escape. Library search moves to `⌘F`. - **Live Activity Center** — Finder-style recording and playback progress with percentage, ETA, event count, current loop, speed, and direct stop/discard controls. - **Progress everywhere** — active cards gain a live playhead and morphing Stop control; the menu bar and Dock now show percentage or continuous-loop status. - **Native interaction polish** — compact utility sizing, richer pointer-aware depth, responsive motion, haptic feedback, improved VoiceOver state, and Reduce Motion support. - **Safer automation** — TinyRecorder hides its own windows before playback, ignores its own UI while recording, cancels pending playback cleanly, and releases held keys or mouse buttons on every exit path. - **Clearer stopping behavior** — normal Stop saves a recording; `F7` remains the emergency abort/discard control. …
