How to install Textream on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Textream and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.7.1 from f's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Textream show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Textream.dmg (1.8 MB).

What is new in Textream 1.7.1

## Installation

- **Textream.dmg** — for macOS 26 Tahoe and later (recommended, includes Liquid Glass effects)
- **Textream-macos15.dmg** — for macOS 15 Sequoia

1. Download the DMG for your macOS version
2. Open the DMG and drag **Textream** to Applications
3. Open Textream normally. The app is signed and notarized by Apple.
