How to install Simbi on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Simbi and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.2.2 from predict-woo's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to Simbi show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Simbi-1.2.2.dmg (27 MB).
What is new in Simbi 1.2.2
- Fixed Codex detection after recent ChatGPT updates, restoring access to Codex features while keeping compatibility with older ChatGPT installations. - Updated the embedded chat terminal to the latest Ghostty package. - New setups now use GPT-6 Sol or GPT-6 Luna according to the account's plan. Existing model choices are preserved. - Fixed creating a top-level folder after collapsing the selected folder.
