About ScreenCapture
Native macOS menu bar app for capturing and annotating screenshots. Features include full-screen/region capture, annotation tools (rectangles, arrows, freehand, text), multi-monitor support, and quick export. Built with Swift 6, SwiftUI, and ScreenCaptureKit.
How to install ScreenCapture on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for ScreenCapture and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.0 from sadopc's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to ScreenCapture show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: ScreenCapture-v1.0.0-macOS.zip (2.5 MB).
