How to install Plonk on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Plonk and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.4.3 from ostapondo's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Plonk show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Plonk-0.4.3.zip (1.8 MB).

What is new in Plonk 0.4.3

## Changed

- The shipped app now includes native Liquid Glass on macOS 26. Version 0.4.2 was built with an older SDK and used the material fallback; the interface and muted palette are otherwise the same.
- Shortened the MCP Registry description to meet its current length limit.
