How to install ntfsmac on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for ntfsmac and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 3.1 from khr898's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to ntfsmac show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

### Bug Fixes

- **BitLocker Error Display & Popover Layout**: Fixed an issue where entering an incorrect BitLocker password or recovery key generated a large, raw error log that stretched the menu bar popover off-screen and made it uncontrollable. The app now displays a clean, concise message (`Wrong password or recovery key.`) within the standard window width.
- **Full Disk Access (FDA) Guidance**: Fixed a bug where the Full Disk Access permission prompt would fail to check and appear after installing or reinstalling the helper.
- **Post-Install Environment Setup**: Fixed an issue where the microVM environment setup process would not automatically check and proceed after installing or reinstalling the helper tool.
