A native macOS overlay for AI provider usage and agent activity.
How to install nootch on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for nootch and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.4 from DeepanshuMishraa's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to nootch show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: nootch-1.0.4.dmg (7.1 MB).

Updated nootch release. - Left and Right positions are vertically centered by default. - Added a live position offset slider with haptic feedback. - Added a Position Reset button. - Existing settings migration and hover behavior remain intact. Requires Apple Silicon and macOS 15 Sequoia or later.
