How to install HotkeyClash on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for HotkeyClash and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.9.2 from Wunderlandmedia's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to HotkeyClash show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: HotkeyClash-0.9.2.dmg (998 KB).

What is new in HotkeyClash 0.9.2

### Added
- Search now answers "what uses this shortcut?" (#10). Type a key combo such as `opt cmd t`, `cmd+shift+4`, or ⌥⌘T. If it is not a conflict, the results tell you which app or system shortcut owns it, or that it is free. Searching by app or action name still lists conflicts only.
- The global shortcut can be switched off (#9). Settings > General > Global hotkey now has a Disable button, for people who open HotkeyClash from the menu bar icon and want the combo back for their other apps. The chosen shortcut is remembered, so Set Shortcut brings it back. While it is off, HotkeyClash no longer lists itself in scan results.
