How to install HealthAtlas on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for HealthAtlas and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 2.0.0 from Schrotty74's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to HealthAtlas show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: HealthAtlas-2.0.0-macos.dmg (1.8 MB).

What is new in HealthAtlas 2.0.0

## Changelog

- Added a byte-based import progress bar for local Export.xml files and ZIP archives. It shows the percentage of XML data processed and does not estimate remaining time.
- Fixed the import slowdown introduced in Bugfix 1.5.4. XML parser positions are now tracked incrementally, so exports with many records no longer recalculate the position for every record.
- Updated automated import tests and the German and English documentation.

## Privacy

HealthAtlas starts without personal data. The included demo is synthetic; imports remain local and are never uploaded.

## Gatekeeper

This build is ad-hoc signed. Open the app normally once; if macOS blocks it, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, choose Open Anyway for that build, then confirm Open and authenticate if asked. Open Anyway is available only for a limited time after the blocked launch and creates an exception only for that build; do not disable Gatekeeper system-wide. Use this only for the official GitHub release.
