What is new in Headroom 0.6.0
### Added - Provider tiers. Each provider is **Main**, **Side**, or **Hidden** — one control that replaces the old visibility picker and the per-provider alert switches. Claude and Codex default to Main; Grok, Cursor, and OpenCode default to Side. Main agents are the ones whose quota stops your work, so only they can bring the island on screen. - A dormant island. While every main agent has room and none is broken, Headroom draws nothing at all: no band, no gauges, no glass. The notch band stays hoverable, so moving the cursor there (or pressing the hotkey) still summons it. - Compact gauges now carry each provider's glyph, and main gauges are drawn larger than side gauges, so two gauges beside the notch are never ambiguous. Main gauges sit left of the notch, side gauges right of it. - The band sizes itself to its gauges instead of clipping them, and the expanded island's height is measured from its content instead of being fixed. ### Changed - Only providers with something to say get a compact gauge: past the first urgency step, or a login that stopped working. Everything else is silence. - The expanded island separates main agents (full rings, name, and when quota comes back) from side providers (smaller rings and a name). …
