How to install Gibson on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Gibson and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.2 from PerfectoWeb's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Gibson show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Gibson.saver.zip (440 KB).

What is new in Gibson 1.0.2

Download `Gibson.saver.zip`, unzip it and double click `Gibson.saver`.
Choose whether to install it for yourself or for everyone, then open
System Settings, go to Wallpaper, click **Screen Saver…**, set **Use
Screen Saver** to **Custom** and pick Gibson at the bottom.

The bundle is signed with a Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so
macOS opens it without any extra steps. Screenshots of every dialog
