How to install Forel on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Forel and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.9 from lab421's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Forel show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

### Fixed
- About Forel now displays the app name, version, build number, copyright, and repository link.
- Automatic rules now keep processing simultaneous file arrivals when an earlier file takes time to move to another disk or network folder.
- Activity timestamps now follow the Mac's current locale, time zone, and clock format instead of displaying UTC.
- Automatic watching can now be paused or resumed from the main window and Settings, with a clear explanation above paused rules.
- File actions no longer crash when macOS or a network volume returns a file identifier outside the signed integer range.

Requires **macOS 13 Ventura or later**.

1. Download `Forel-v1.0.9.dmg`.
2. Open it and drag **Forel** into **Applications**.
3. Forel is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple.
