- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to DPIManager show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: DPIManager.zip (2.0 MB).
What is new in DPIManager 1.1.0
- Complete UI Redesign (Feels native macOS): Two-pane layout with a floating display sidebar, translucent material, and edge-to-edge content replacing the old title bar. - Real Display Names: Shows actual marketing names like Samsung S27F350, LG FHD, etc instead of generic "Display 1440×900", with a MAIN badge for your primary display. - Security Hardening & Bug Fixe: Removed a root-level shell injection vector, fixed the HiDPI disable bug, moved temp files to a private directory, and added input validation to prevent crashes.
