About Cloak

Cloak is a macOS app that creates a shareable window for screen sharing. Instead of sharing your actual screen, you share the Cloak window. When you need privacy, toggle privacy mode and viewers see a placeholder while you continue working normally.

How to install Cloak on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Cloak and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.5.2 from D3OXY's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Cloak show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Cloak-1.5.2.dmg (3.8 MB).

## Installation

1. Download `Cloak-1.5.2.dmg`
2. Open the DMG and drag Cloak to Applications
3. **First launch**: Right-click Cloak → Open → Click "Open" in the dialog

This is required once because the app is not signed with an Apple Developer certificate.

```
