About Clipfield
A beautiful (and useful) open source clipboard manager for macOS
How to install Clipfield on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for Clipfield and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.1.0 from jolleyDesign's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to Clipfield show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Clipfield.dmg (1.3 MB).
What is new in Clipfield 0.1.0
First public release of **Clipfield**, a local-first clipboard manager for macOS. ## Install 1. Download `Clipfield.dmg` below. 2. Open it and drag **Clipfield** to Applications. 3. Launch Clipfield and grant the Accessibility permission when prompted. The DMG is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a clean double-click — no Gatekeeper warning. ## Notes - Requires macOS. - Clipboard history is stored and encrypted locally; nothing leaves your machine.
