How to install ClearDisk on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for ClearDisk and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 2.3.2 from bysiber's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to ClearDisk show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: ClearDisk-v2.3.2.dmg (6.3 MB).
What is new in ClearDisk 2.3.2
### Fixed - Full Disk Access detection no longer depends on the user TCC database at `~/Library/Application Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db`, which does not exist on macOS 27. The probe now reads the system TCC database when present, then falls back to listing protected locations such as Safari, Mail, and Stocks app data. --- ### Install ```sh brew tap bysiber/cleardisk brew trust bysiber/cleardisk brew install --cask cleardisk ``` Or download the DMG below and drag ClearDisk to Applications.
