How to install clawpypaste on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for clawpypaste and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.4.10 from krisbradley's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to clawpypaste show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: clawpypaste.zip (2.3 MB).
What is new in clawpypaste 0.4.10
- **Update check** — clawpypaste now checks the GitHub releases feed (at launch and every 6 hours) and shows an update badge in the popover header plus an "Update available" item in the menu bar right-click menu. Homebrew installs get `brew upgrade` run in a new Terminal; direct installs get the release page. Toggle it off in Preferences → Behavior → Updates.
