How to install Burrete on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Burrete and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.0.32 from SergeiNikolenko's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Burrete show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: Burrete-1.0.32.zip (183 MB).

What is new in Burrete 1.0.32

Compatibility update bridge for legacy Burrete installations.

Burrete 1.0.31 users install this release first. After restarting, version 1.0.32 uses the current Burette release endpoint and can update to Burette 2.0.1.

The app bundle is ad-hoc signed and not notarized, matching the legacy distribution path.
