How to install Aman Disk on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for Aman Disk and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 0.9.2 from MidZai's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to Aman Disk show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

## Aman Disk 0.9.2

- **Easier first launch**: the DMG now includes **How to Install.txt**, with the steps to open the app the first time on macOS 14 and on macOS 15 or later.
- In English, the drive page and reports say “Internal SSD” instead of “SSD internal”.
- Diagnostic export: hidden values are written as `<masked>`.
- About window: “© 2026 MidZai · MIT License”.

### Installation
1. Download `Aman-Disk-0.9.2.dmg` below, open it and drag **Aman Disk** into **Applications**.
2. The app isn't signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS blocks it the first time. On macOS 15 or later, go to **System Settings › Privacy & Security** and click **Open Anyway**. On macOS 14, Control-click the app and choose **Open**. All the steps are in **How to Install.txt** and in the [README](https://github.com/MidZai/aman_disk#macos-says-aman-disk-cant-be-opened).
