How to install AgentBar on a Mac

  1. Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
  2. Search for AgentBar and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 1.54.1 from michalstrnadel's own GitHub release.
  3. Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.

Updates to AgentBar show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.

Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: AgentBar.dmg (5.9 MB).

What is new in AgentBar 1.54.1

### Fixed

- **Updates arrive the same day.** AgentBar looked for a new version once a day,
 on a timer that stops while the Mac sleeps, so a laptop that slept at night
 could run a day or more behind. It now looks every four hours by the clock,
 and again after every wake.

### Changed

- **Keep Mac Awake no longer locks the screen unless you ask it to.** "Lock the
 screen when you leave" was on by default, so with Keep Screen On the screen
 went dark after ten minutes without input, and nothing showed the agents were
 still working (they were: the Mac never slept). It is now off until you switch
 it on in Settings ▸ Keep Awake.
