How to install MenuScores on a Mac
- Get OpenDMG. It is a free app store for open source Mac apps. Download OpenDMG.
- Search for MenuScores and press Get. OpenDMG downloads version 2.3.1 from daniyalmaster693's own GitHub release.
- Open it. The download is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint and its signature is checked on your Mac before it lands in Applications.
Updates to MenuScores show up in OpenDMG and install with one button. No account is needed.
Prefer to do it by hand? The developer's file is on GitHub: MenuScores.dmg (12 MB).
What is new in MenuScores 2.3.1
## New Settings - Added a new auto remove favorite games settings ## Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue causing most sports to fail to fetch games. This was due to an API related change by ESPN. For this update I have removed the multi day schedules feature since this was deprecated by ESPN. Will try to add this back in the future. ## Installation **Requires macOS 13.0 and later** **Note:** Because the app is not signed, on first launch, macOS may warn that the app couldn't be verified. To open it: 1. Click **Done** on the warning prompt. 2. Open **System Settings → Privacy & Security**. 3. Scroll down to the security section and click **Open Anyway**. ### Homebrew You can also install and manage MenuScores using Homebrew: ```bash brew tap daniyalmaster693/casks brew trust --cask daniyalmaster693/casks/menuscores brew install --cask menuscores xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MenuScores.app ``` You can update MenuScores using this command: ```bash brew upgrade --cask menuscores ``` Thanks for using MenuScores!
